Where to park:

You can park at the University of Kansas (KU) in parking garages or paid meters by paying an hourly rate, or by using a mobile app like ParkMobile.

For visitors, the Mississippi Street parking garage is a good option,

• Parking garages: These garages charge a fee. The first hour (or any portion) is $2.25, and all subsequent hours are $2.00.

• Meters and paid lots: Pay at pay stations using a credit/debit card or cash (exact change is recommended). Alternatively, use a mobile app like ParkMobile to pay for hourly parking in marked spaces and many yellow lots.

• Mobile app payment: Use the ParkMobile app or a similar service for select lots and meters. You'll need to enter the zone number from the sign and your license plate information.
